Dr. Faraneh works with patients of all ages to implement sustainable body practices that support good movement and improve well-being. She employs a multidisciplinary approach including acupuncture, manual therapies, and home exercise to resolve pain and minimize recurrence. She specializes in craniofacial therapies that can be helpful for babies with feeding difficulties and in relieving many chronic conditions including: TMJ pain, vertigo, tinnitus, and headaches. Additional certifications include the Webster Technique, which maintains pelvic alignment during pregnancy and NeuroKinetic Therapy, a rehabilitation modality that affects change in the motor control center of the cerebellum and can be helpful with a number of musculoskeletal complaints.
She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic and holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in French Studies and High Honors in History from Wesleyan University.

Karen is a Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist whose early experiences in neurodevelopmental rehabilitation lay the foundation for her comprehensive approach at KIDSPACE. Over her career, Karen has pursued additional education to provide families with many ways to reach their full potential .
Karen specializes in assessment and treatment of oral motor dysfunction. Karen’s unique combination of experience and training in lactation, neurodevelopment, bodywork and oral motor rehabilitation gives her the unique ability to assess and treat from a holistic perspective. Karen has found that using craniosacral therapy in conjunction with orofacial myology creates the best outcomes for infants, children, and adults with oral motor dysfunction.
She enjoys treating children from birth through their teen years as well as working with adults. She works with birth trauma, breastfeeding, behavior, feeding, sensory integration, anxiety, and many other challenges that may arise.
One of Karen’s biggest strengths is that she has a unique ability to connect with and see the whole person. Karen feels that KIDSPACE has made her lifelong dream and passion a reality. Outside of KIDSPACE, she enjoys the beach, playing with her dog JD and having fun with her family.
SHARON VALLONE, DC, FICCP
Sharon enjoys working in a multi-disciplinary environment and brings 30+ years of pediatric experience (40+ if you include mothering and grandmothering) with a primary interest in pregnancy, birth trauma, breastfeeding and concerns with infant/toddler neurodevelopment. She frequently finds her role to be member of a support team for infants and children by providing assessment and healthcare advocacy, as well as individualized treatment for children with breastfeeding issues or other functional challenges.
She is the editor of the Journal of Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics and teaches internationally in the International Chiropractor’s Association postgraduate program in pediatric chiropractic. She has served for over a decade as Chair of the Board of Kentuckiana Children’s Center in Louisville, Kentucky, a non for profit multidisciplinary center that provides care for special needs children. She is also currently serving as the chair of the International Chiropractors Association Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics.
